Remember that if the game goes stale without even minor changes people will lose interest and the end will creep ever closer.Heroes of the Storm is a MOBA (massively online battle arena) game that brings together over 90 heroes and villains from games like: Warcraft, Starcraft, Diablo, Overwatch and more, so you can choose your favourites to play as. But since this was added back in it has generated a fair bit of buzz around the online community and this is good news for attracting new players. If the majority agrees that it should be removed then I agree that action should be taken. To add to this, there was a poll done not too long ago and the overwhelming majority of people were “for” the small chance of all heroes being the same. We have been proving this fact for many months. You can still achieve fun in a custom lobby. There are ways to play without this game mode, but if it is removed then it becomes inaccessible to everybody forever.ĪRAM isn’t a competitive mode. If we didn’t, we would just make custom ARAMs and cancel the lobby if it happens. We are all stoked that this was added back in. To counter this, we have a small community that runs ARAMs twice a week and nights dedicated to queueing SL twice a week. Might be an unpopular opinion but here we go anyway: In my small region our game modes are mostly dead. Thanks for entertaining my soapbox spiel! gjLeaf maybe even beta… idk, it’s been a long *** time tho. I love this game and have been playing with my friends since release. I kid, I kid, but seriously… one-for-all is horrible.Įven though I despise the re-added mode, thanks for listening to suggestions from the community. ![]() This makes me think the outspoken group asking for the return of one-for-all was a loud minority and I’d appreciate not being forced to suffer their poor taste □. Since then, I’ve only played with people complaining about the mode. In fact, I can think of only one team that was excited about a one-for-all game, and it was the first day it was returned. This request comes from me, those I regularly play with (10+ people), and many other players I’ve encountered in one for all games. And so the teams rubberband back and forth, back and forth - trading kills in a pyrrhic battle of attrition. The team using 3/5 ults in the first fight loses the next because the enemy team only used 2/5. A LONG slugfest because with identical abilities and no healer, a victory in one fight leaves your team at a health disadvantage for the next fight when the other team respawns. Of course, there’s still some strategy, for those who are going to try and make my argument black and white, but it’s a stale and unimaginative strategy. Monotony sets in when everyone shares the same range, cc potential, and defenses. ![]() ![]() All of these aspects are minimized or even removed in a one for all game. Forcing the other team out of position so stragglers can be focused, taking advantage of their grouping to land a sick AoE CC ult, and harassing them and their towers down after picking off the tank/heals are all key to the fun that is HotS. One of the most fun aspects of ARAM for me is crafting a functional team on the fly and then using those heroes to outplay the other team. Or add a separate one-for-all mode for those that want to play it! I understand there was an outspoken group requesting one-for-all. The squeaky wheel gets the grease, and the squeakers asking for One-for-All back proved it can influence the devs. If you dislike One-for-All, please respond here and there.
